Plain English writing is different from standard writing styles as it emphasizes simplicity and clarity. Plain English Writing compared to regular writing aims to communicate information in a straightforward, simple, and easily understandable way, whereas traditional writing uses more complex words as it tries to use formality, making it harder for some people to comprehend. The approach for plain English writing involves using everyday language while avoiding complex words, technical terms, and long sentence structures that could potentially confuse readers. Additionally, what makes plain English writing different is it values brief and concise wording, it helps maintain the readers engagement by providing information clearly and effectively. Compared to traditional, the wording typically lingers on and involve much more wording while utilizing words that some people may find hard to understand. Ultimately, plain English writing serves as a powerful tool in marketing within campaigns for inclusive yet impactful communication, which allows for readers to be able to grasp, understand, and process, all the information that is given to them.
